Ben Granholm

Ben Granholm is a Director at Swing Strategies, where he specializes in building bipartisan coalitions and developing strategic partnerships for ballot measures and public affairs campaigns. With a deep understanding of California’s public policy and political landscape, he plays a key role in advancing effective advocacy initiatives across the state.

Ben has been actively involved in efforts to address California’s cost of living and affordability crisis, working on policies related to taxes, housing, and land use. He has helped shape campaigns and coalitions to reduce regulatory barriers, promote homeownership, and advocate for policies that make living and doing business in California more affordable.

Ben began his public policy career working in the state capitol as a Senate Fellow, later holding key legislative roles focused on education, transportation, housing, and energy. Before joining Swing Strategies, he worked in regulatory affairs and advocacy, promoting affordable energy and housing policies through grassroots initiatives with the California Association of REALTORSⓇ and Western Propane Gas Association.

Originally from Northern California, Ben developed a strong connection to the agriculture industry through his involvement in 4-H and FFA. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education with an emphasis in Agricultural Business from California State University, Fresno, holds a Certificate in Applied Public Policy and Government, and is a registered parliamentarian.

In his free time, Ben enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. Ben currently lives in Rancho Cordova with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Ollie.
