Director of Operations

Chris Marsh is expert at winning tough political fights with skilled management of complex problems.

With nearly two decades experience in competitive political campaigns, Chris has earned a reputation for laser focus on campaign logistics and detail-oriented personnel management.  Additionally, his decade in the California State Legislature grants him unique insight into a myriad of local, state, and national issues on behalf of Swing’s clients.

As Director of Operations, Chris oversees the long-term strategic objectives of our clients and maximizes the day-to-day efficiency of our team. More than just making sure the “trains come in on time,” Chris acts as a liaison for our Accounts, Production, and Finance team to help keep our logistics, tactics, and strategies in line with the client’s goals.

Before joining Swing Strategies, Chris worked on a bevy of State and Congressional Campaigns, and has a history of consulting on various political projects that included statewide voter registration initiatives and strategic consulting on redistricting. Chris spent eight years as a State Senate District Director overseeing an operation of more than one million constituents.

Chris Marsh was born and raised in the North County coastal area of San Diego and attended the University of California Santa Barbara.

Chris currently lives in Encinitas. When not in the office or out in the field, Chris is probably surfing or pursuing his love of international travel, having been to over 30 countries with many more still on his list.
